6 KEY TIPS TO HAVE IN MIND WHEN SHOPPING FOR A BAG

Every true fashion diva knows that handbags are the perfect fashion accessory. They are fun  and easy to shop for and you can never have too many. You are  either a bags or shoes kind of girl,  I simply  love both I have taken my love a step further by enrolling in a bag making course in Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design London some years back. I spend my money on purses. I must have 15 or 20 different bags in different colours.
I want to switch it up every single day. If you’re like me maybe you have a little concern about how to figure out what bag to wear with what outfit. I see most ladies always reaching out to the safe black bag when you can make your outfit pop by matching with the right bag colour. I have seen women lugging their shoulder bag to nightclubs and work satchels to the gym. I have also seen how ladies are often under-accessorized at formal events although they are perfectly dressed and look off only because their bag was a complete mismatch I think it’s important to have a good range of bags for every occasion, and also know which bag best suits your outfit.

Here are two major categories of bags for day and night fashion.

DAY BAGS (CASUAL/OFFICE BAGS)

As working women spend most of their time outside their homes, the bags they carry should be fashionable and functional. The following women’s handbags are a woman’s go-to bags. #1 CONSIDER THE EVENT

 Always consider the event before picking your outfit and accessories including your purse. Are you going for an evening dinner or a business meeting? Have this in mind before you pick the bag to rush off with from holiday party to luncheons and weddings, an inappropriate choice of bag not only ruins the look but also your comfort level.

Before picking the strapless clutch, make sure if you’ll be comfortable carrying it all through the entire night. Also an ornament clutch which is more persevered for sophisticated formal events, cannot be just carried to a night club. Instead a wrist-let will work better for such night-time affairs.

#2 THE DESIGN OF THE BAG IS VITAL.

Not any bag can work for your daytime engagements or any evening bag can work for your late afternoon commitments, Evening bags come in different styles and designs. Day bags too. Its best to consider the design of the bag before you buy or wear it for an occasion. It will be a fashion don’t to see a lady wear a duffel bag intended for sports and travelling for a wedding or clutch on to a cosmetic bag intended to hold cosmetic for a dinner date.

#3 WHAT YOU NEED TO CARRY

While some day bags are spacious enough to occupy your requisites; evening bags by far are small in size, only offering space to your cosmetics, keys and phone. Always consider how much you need to store in your bag and accordingly pick a design that will complement your outfit and occasion on the whole.

#4 THE BAG MUST COMPLIMENT YOUR OUTFIT

This is an important factor that must be considered while choosing a bag for the occasion. In order to make an impressive style statement, your bag should compliment your dress. Well, that doesn’t mean you have to look for a matching purse for your apparel.   A bag can be worn to make your outfit pop by picking a bright coloured bag when wearing neutral coloured clothes. If you’re wearing a really busy outfit, maybe wear a simple bag. That doesn’t mean it has to be black or a plain colour. You could even wear a metallic bag a gold or nude bag. But just pick something that’s a little more one colour and a simple design. Also you can always rely upon animal prints for your evening dress and night events. These prints add glamour elements to your personality.

#5 DON’T BE SCARED TO INCORPORATE BRIGHTLY-COLORED HAND BAGS INTO YOUR CLOSET.

Try a bright COLORED BAG as a splash of color. It shows that you are a woman not to be trifled with. This is true of virtually every work environment and for any particular dress code that you may be working under. Purses can add a pop of color where you might otherwise not be able to do so.

Even for work, brightly colored bags also show your employer that you are edgy, daring and not afraid to think outside the box, which are all positive qualities. Choose a color based on the basic undertone of your outfit and either complement or contrast it. Choosing  a vibrant contrasting color will really make you stand out from the crowd.

#6 GO FOR TIMELESS BAGS
