Zapel, one of the Fashion focus Finalist Lagos fashion and design week 2015 presents her new AW2017 collection "Vintage Opulence"... for the cosmopolitan new African women. It also features her new vintage bag collection made from genuine leather sourced from Aba and Kano Nigeria. Her collection tells a story of the New African woman who is well traveled but is proud of her roots, she is familiar with her style though influenced by diverse cultures of countries she has been to, she is still in touch with her African roots. It also a campaign ad of her pride in the luxury of African fashion and how far we have come from being fashion slaves to western designs to believing in our own made in Nigeria garments.
