MONDAY INSPIRATION: Kimono Jackets

Kimono jackets are here to stay, they come in a variety of colors and prints, and can be worn with almost anything. The kimono jackets that you’ve been seeing everywhere are really nothing like a Japanese kimono.  I love them and I think they are amazing to hide that bulge. They’re also very perfect for warmer weather because they’re light and airy, but still cover you up if you’re chilly or you just want something on your shoulders. They come in all sorts of beautiful patterns, and they can be worn with absolutely everything. So embrace the boho chic trend this season!

Want to incorporate these into your wardrobe? You definitely should! Here are style tips on how to wear kimono jackets and look fabulous

Belt up your kimono over your outfit for a different silhouette

For the perfect summer look, pair it with shorts, a simple top or crop top and sneakers or sandals

Tight fitted dresses/outfit. The best styling tip to wear kimono jackets, is to pair it with a tight dress. Make sure to go for a plain tight fitted dress if your kimono has prints on it.

On the all white look, add a pop of color to your look.

Style a kimono  with a pair of tailleur pants for a power-woman look

The jeans and shirt or top look. On a chilly day that requires some warmth and still want to look stylish, just add a kimono to your jeans and shirt/top outfit

Kimono on Swimsuits. Use Long Kimonos to cover up on the beach.

The elegant look. Kimono jackets are not just for the casual looks, you can totally style up your kimono jackets with the perfect leggings, an elegant top and statement heels.

This is how I wore mine, on a Denim dress and on a Zapel woman print dress!

From Memoirs of a Geisha, movie with a great fashion inspiration, to catwalks, the kimono jacket is one of the most popular pieces for this Season. We know how difficult it is to match the look but don’t worry, this time the perfect item to shine is just the jacket, with which designers have played around giving it a new sophisticated-delicate and chic flair.
What do you think of the kimono jackets? will you rock it? Which look is your favorite?
